“We are coming to ski at the Hintertux Glacier over Christmas and New Year’s Eve for years. There are more and more fun activities besides the great slopes every season. Of course, specially our kids love it,” says Sabine from Nuremberg, one of many happy guests at the moment. This winter, her children can not only enjoy swift rides through the Funslope Hintertux, but also visit glacier flea Luis in the newly built Kidsslope. Many children know glacier flea Luis from their summer visits of the glacier flea park at Hintertux Glacier. From now on, Luis will be there for the younger guests also in the winter and those who give him a high-five will be in for a surprise and perk up their ears. Especially the ride through the two snow houses is a very special experience for the children. The only thing able to beat this kind of riding enjoyment and diversity is the Funslope Hintertux which is located directly on the opposite site. Already during the lift ride with the 4-seater chairlift Tuxerjoch you can see the waves, jumps, banked turns and the numerous other obstacles. A very special highlight in the Funslope Hintertux is the gigantic Funslope Eight with various tunnels which leads into the enormous Fun Twister. After swirling through it, the slope leads you further over the double wave track with different obstacles. Especially during the ride over the bridge you will need some kind of sensitivity in your feet. On December 25, we also made a video clip in the Funslope.

Every day at Hintertux Glacier is a special day. This year, however, Valentine’s Day will be the most special day of all. On February 14, 2018, the Funslope Photo Quest stops in the Funslope Hintertux as well as in the Kidsslope Hintertux. Just ride through the Funslope between 10 am and 12 noon or through the Kidsslope between 1 pm and 3 pm, let the professional photographer take a great photo of you (maybe one with you and your boy- or girlfriend) and win awesome prizes. How? Your photo will be uploaded to the Facebook page of Hintertux Glacier. Just tag yourself and motivate all your friends and relatives to give it a like. And who knows, maybe this year’s Funslope Photo Quest will inspire your better half to propose to you in an “Ed Sheeran”-like style… “I don’t deserve this, darling, you look perfect [in the Funslope].”
