Fantastic snow adventures and where to find them
07.11.2018

Once the temperatures are dropping, our anticipation level starts shooting up! Why? Well, because it means that the winter season 2018/19 is getting closer and closer. And there’s a lot to look forward to: Brand-new Funslopes, as well as news and changes at well-known Funslopes. This winter, you can also finally meet Slopy, our cheeky Funslope-mascot, in person. If you don’t already know where to spend your family skiing holidays, you’ll find more than enough inspiration here!

Looking for new snow adventures?

You already know all the Funslopes out there – starting with Funslope Gastein and ending with Funslope La Plagne? Well, turns out you’re wrong: The Funslope-Family has grown once again! Now, we are counting 61 Funslopes across Austria, Germany, France, Italy and Switzerland!

At the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn there are two new fun rides waiting for you: The Funslope Zwölfer and the Funslope U-Bahn. The Funslope U-Bahn is our little personal tip for all the night owls among you: The floodlights will turn night into day and illuminate the whole hillside. That means, you can race through the Funslope U-Bahn at night. The new Funslope at Livigno is also one of a kind: Summer-feeling is guaranteed at The Beach – Funslope. This one is definitely the most tropical one of our Funslopes! Additionally, there will be another new Funslope at Cassana, Livigno – snow adventures guaranteed. However, those are not our only new family members in Italy: The Funslope Valbella will provide you with an extra dose of fun at Bormio. And at the ski area Gitschberg Jochtal in South Tyrol, you’ll also find a new snow adventure. But these weren’t all our newbies yet: In Switzerland, the Funslope Lenk and Funslope Wildhaus will care for an extra portion of fun. Also, the young and the old alike can enjoy the new Funslope Wildkogel and Funslope Speikboden as well! A lot of Funslopes to choose from, right? Selecting the right place for your next skiing holiday has probably never been that hard.

News about your favorite Funslopes

But, don’t worry – there’s also news about your beloved favorites from past winters. The Funslope Turracher Höhe still offers you snow fun at a length of 1,5 kilometers, but in a completely different area. And there are a lot of new obstacles and highlights in various other Funslopes too. If you’re curious, what’s new at your personal favorite Funslope, you can take a look at this map and take a little sneak-peek into what’s to come!

Of course, the highlights and must-sees of last winter will return as well: For example, the Double Fun Twister at the Funslope Schöneben, the snow houses at Funslope Biok in Alta Badia or the two Fun Twisters, that whirl you around at Funslope Hintertux, and and and …. Don’t get us started on talking about all our favorites!
