Obergurgl-Hochgurgl has every right to be called a winter wonderland: with its two Funslopes – the Funslope Hochgurgl and the news Audi quattro funslope in Obergurgl Tyrol’s highest located ski resort focuses on heaps of fun and action for the whole family and all skill levels. With good reason, because those who discover the fun rides with their diverse elements such as the high five, speedboosts, jumps and tunnels, will surely want more than just a second go. Just a couple of days ago, the Funslopes’ popularity could once again be demonstrated at the Funslope Hochgurgl – the first Funslope to open this winter – where nearly 1,000 visitors were registered within the first two hours of its first operating day! It’s no wonder the Funslope is so massively popular, because apart from its diverse obstacles, at Hochgurgl you’ll even get the opportunity to dash over the roof of a car.

Winter sports enthusiasts seeking a little suspense will have one more reason to look forward to the winter: as of the season of 2016/17 the brand-new Audi quattro funslope in Obergurgl will expand the local leisure program and will give visitors young and old the chance to experience exciting days in the mountains. Waves, banked turns and much more are waiting to be discovered, such as a bridge and a speedboost, Funslope inhabitant Slopy will also be there for some extra motivation!

Just short of the beginning of the new year – on December 29 to be exact – the Funslope Hochgurgl will host the very first Funslope Photo Quest this season! The speedy photo challenge will make a second stop at the Funslope Hochgurgl and will return on February 14. On these two days a professional photographer will be present at the Funslope, catching the visitors on camera as they ride through the track. The photos will then be uploaded to https://www.facebook.com/obergurgl. All those who tag themselves in the pictures will then enter the voting where the day’s winner will be rewarded with a helmet by TSG. At the end of the season, a whopping 1,000 Euroswill be raffled amongst all the winners of the single Photo Quests, so participating literally pays off!
