Honestly, each of our 59 Funslopes is a real highlight itself - no matter if we’re talking about the 1.3 kilometers long XXL-Funslope on the Schmittenhöhe, the sporty Fun Ride in Gastein or the Funslope Schöneben whose double Fun Twister became a major attraction at the Reschen Pass. For many years now, these prime examples have been part of our portfolio. But the Funslopes family was happy about new joyful rides this season. All in all, we were excited to take care of nine new projects during the winter 2018/19. For example, we built the Funslope Zwölfer and the Funslope U-Bahn in Saalbach Hinterglemm or the tropical The Beach – Funslope in Cassana Livigno! We would like to welcome all Funslope newbies once again and we’re looking forward to many more fun winters to come.
In Hinterglemm, you were able to meet a real star this winter. Slopy - our Funslopes mascot – was visiting the “Home of Lässig” every week and made sure that a lot of action was going on at the Funslope U-Bahn and the Funslope Zwölfer. At Ehrwalder Alm, another Meet & Greet event with a familiar face took place. This time, we are talking about the ski area’s mascot - DIDI, the jackdaw. Every Tuesday, the jokester was strolling through his ski resort. And of course, he didn’t forget to stop by at the Funslope Ehrwald.
The Funslope Photo Quest was again one of the major highlights this season! During the speedy photo chase, we took countless cool action photos. They are not only the perfect memory of an eventful day on the slopes, but also the ticket to win amazing prizes. Just like Phillip Rainalter did – he became first in our final voting and thus, the proud winner of €1,000!
It’s not a secret anymore that our Funslopes offer fun for the whole family. In two ski resorts, we were going one better by organizing another family friendly event at the Fun Ride. At the Funslope Family Day in Sölden and the big Opening of the Fun Area Wildkogel, we opened the Funslope gates especially for all families and turned their day on the mountain into a very special one!
So, all Funslopes are closing now? No! Some persistent Fun Rides stay open until the end of April! You can find an overview on our website. If you want to see the latest photos from our Funslopes, you’re more than welcome to visit our Facebook and Instagram page. We would like to wish you a wonderful end of the season and we’re looking forward to welcoming you in our Funslopes again next winter! Your Funslopes team!
