The LEITWOLF X – A real all-round talent!
20.02.2020

Extraordinary tasks need extraordinary performances! The Funslope Schöneben is everything but a normal slope. Features like banked turns, snow waves, Fun Twisters and Speedboosts turn the maintenance of this Fun Ride into a real challenge! The LEITWOLF X by PRINOTH is up to the task.

When the skiing resort closes for tourists, Christians Patscheider’s day begins. He is one of the snowcat operators at the skiing, mountain biking and hiking resort on Passo di Resia and is responsible for grooming the Funslope Schöneben. A task that would be difficult to accomplish without the LEITWOLF X by PRINOTH.

Here we would like to show you a Vimeo video.

Grooming the Funslope Schöneben

“We are operating the LEITWOLF X for the second season here now”, Christian says. “It is perfect for the Snowpark and the Funslope!” When grooming the Funslope, the properties of the LEITWOLF X come into play: “What I find most ingenious about this machine is the parallel offset of the tiller. You can use it perfectly when working on banked turns and the result on the groomed slopes is outstanding.” Banked turns need special sensitivity. If they are too flat, the riding experience of the skiers and snowboarders suffers. If the turns are too steep, they can quickly turn into a hazard. “I always have to make sure that the blade is well tilt and for that, the LEITWOLF X is perfectly suited”, Christian explains. “The motion range and the possibility to incline blade and tiller is especially important for the steep parts and the tight turns.”
